The Irvington Farmers Market
The Irvington Farmers Market has been voted consistently as Best Farmers Market on Virginia's East Coast by Virginia Living Magazine. Our focus is on area farms and the best quality local produce available. Our vendors feature vegetables and fruits and the wonderful array of products made from them, along with fresh homemade bread and bakery goods. You'll find artisanal cheeses, along with local honey, meat, and seafood. In addition, we have vendors from across the region who offer handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing. You are likely to find beautiful handmade furniture, glassware, and baskets; soaps and artwork of all kinds. Food, flowers, and gifts galore!

You will find a variety of mouthwatering soups, breakfast sandwiches, and amazing food trucks. Bring your own chairs or take advantage of the extra seating provided on the Irvington Commons. A variety of talented musicians perform throughout the season. Additionally, you can strike up a conversation with very knowledgeable master gardeners, oyster gardeners, local farmers, and more.

We hold the Irvington Farmers Market every 1st Saturday from May through November from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Our Market is located at the center of Historic Irvington at the Irvington Commons on King Carter Drive, right next to the unique Steamboat Era Museum, a "must-see". Bring the entire family for all to enjoy the pleasant social atmosphere. There's a playground for children and pets are most welcome. The Irvington Farmers Market is organized by the dedicated volunteers of the Irvington Village Improvement Association. We greatly appreciate your patronage and also encourage everyone to check out the surrounding shops and restaurants in lovely Historic Irvington, all within easy walking distance of the Irvington Commons.
