BUDGET & FINANCE COMMITTEE
WILL HOLD A WORKSHOP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO
§§15.2-1417,1418 AND §2.2-3707 OF THE CODE OF VIRGINIA
AND §§31.17,18 OF THE TOWN CODE.
The workshop will be held at the Town Office, located at
235 Steamboat Road, Irvington on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss 1) Lancaster County Collection Services Agreement, 2) Effect of Real Estate Reassessment, 3) Annual practice of adopting taxes levied and fees imposed by Town and 3) FY19/20 proposed budget.
Note: The public is invited to attend and observe council, mayor and staff discussions about the agenda items. The public will have the opportunity to discuss these issues on May 9, June 6, and June 13 at other meetings.

WILL HOLD A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
ON THURSDAY, FEBRURY 14, 2019 AT 5:30 PM
Per the request of Mayor Ransone, a SPECIAL CALLED MEETING has been called for Thursday, February 14, 2019 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Irvington Town Office.
The Special meeting is called under Town Code Section 31.17.
It will be a regular meeting where the council may vote to go into closed session to discuss personnel matters under 2.2-3711A1 and legal advice under 2.2-3711A7,
consultation with Town Attorney regarding specific legal matters requiring the
provision of legal advice pertaining to,
"(1) 167 Chase's Cove Lane, Chesapeake Bay Act Violation.
(2) Closed Session: Section 2.2-3711(A)(1) Personnel Matters - Discussion, consideration, and assignment of duties to employees of the public body."

PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Irvington Town Council will hold a public hearing at the Irvington Town Hall on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 6:15 p.m. and will conclude upon the calling to order of the regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear public views about the following matter:
Proposed Amendment to the Town Code, Zoning Chapter. Council proposes to amend the Town Code by repealing Town Code §151.01 which incorporates the Comprehensive Plan. This topic is placed on the public hearing agenda pursuant to VA Code Ann.
§ 15.2-2204. Complete text of the proposed changes is available in the Town Office. Individuals requiring additional information or clarification may contact Roy C. Kime, Zoning Administrator, (804) 438.6230.
