The Irvington Town Council will hold a

Special Called Meeting

on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.,

in the Irvington Baptist Church.

An Ordinance Repealing Town Code §§154.085, 154.086, Portions of The

Zoning Ordinance of The Town of Irvington

And

Amending And Restating These Same Sections To Clarify B1 District

TOWN OF IRVINGTON

TOWN HALL MEETING

PUBLIC HEARING

On Tuesday, November 20, 2018 the Town of Irvington commons development committee will hold a Town Hall meeting for the purpose of presenting to the public recommendations for the Town Commons. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Irvington Baptist Church and will conclude upon the calling to order of the public hearing at 6:30 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that the Irvington Town Council will hold a public hearing at the Irvington Baptist Church on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. to hear public views about the following matters:

Proposed Amendments to the Town of Irvington Town Charter. Proposed amendments are housekeeping in nature, in the form of updates or clarifications to the Charter to reflect current law and practice. Complete text of the proposed amendments is available in the Town Office. This topic is placed on the public hearing agenda pursuant to VA Code Ann. § 15.2-202. Individuals requiring additional information or clarification may contact Roy C. Kime, Town Manager, (804) 438.6230.

Proposed Amendments to the Town Code, Zoning Chapter. Proposed amendments are to Town Code §§ 154.085 (B-1 Statement of Intent), and 154.086 (B-1 Use Regulations) and are in the form of additions, deletions and modifications to permitted uses and regulations as part of a regular review of the Zoning Ordinance. The changes relate to the requirements for the, and B-1 District in particular, and a prohibition of specific uses in the B-1 District. This topic is placed on the public hearing agenda pursuant to VA Code Ann. § 15.2-2204. Complete text of the proposed changes is available in the Town Office.
